History
2021
The inaugural La Quinta Invitational took place in 2021. Despite last-minute planning and preparation, the tournament was able to field a talented group of eight participants that forever set the tone for what was to become the Agave Cup. The two teams played PGA West Nicklaus Tournament Course, PGA West Dye Mountain Course, PGA West Dye Dunes Course, and Indian Wells Celebrity Course, with the Amigos taking home the first Agave Cup.

2023
The first Agave Cup (previously the La Quinta Invitational) was originally scheduled for November 2022 but was postponed until January of 2023 do to the tragic passing of friend and gangster Rajan Moonsinghe. The field consisted of 10 highly unskilled players and welcomed some new faces to golf's greatest party. The teams faced off at PGA West Nicklaus Tournament Course, PGA West Dye Mountain Course, PGA West Dye Dunes Course, and Indian Wells Celebrity Course, with the Banditos claiming their first Agave Cup.
